“Annadānāt paraṁ dānaṁ na bhūtaṁ na bhaviṣyati” There has never been, nor will there ever be, any gift greater than the gift of food
Annadana—The Highest Form of Charity in Sanatana Dharma: Feeding the hungry is revered as the most noble act, nourishing both body and soul. Each meal shared uplifts the giver and the receiver, spreading compassion and positivity.
What We Do:
Every Dwadashi, we serve wholesome Annadana to sadhus, yatris, and annarthis at sacred Arunachala.
Over 1,000 people served so far—this is just the beginning!
Expanding Reach: Our initiative now brings food to hunger spots across Bangalore—because no one should sleep hungry.
Support Our Annadanam Program at Arunachala
We are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity in supporting our Annadanam (food donation) initiative.
Cost of one meal: ₹65 Mandatory Dakshina to Sadhu: ₹10
Total donation per meal: ₹75 (₹65 for the meal + ₹10 mandatory Dakshina)
Your donation of ₹75 per meal not only provides a wholesome meal to someone in need but also honors the sacred tradition through the Dakshina given to the Sadhu who blesses this charitable service.
You can choose to donate for one meal or any number of meals. Every contribution helps us continue this blessed service at Arunachala.
Thank you for your wholehearted support!
