Media & Film Industry

Puneeth Sharman was born and brought up in a humble middle-class family. From a young age, he had a deep passion for theater and media. His love for acting led him to perform in numerous plays, where he showcased exceptional talent. His dedication and skill earned him a prestigious State Award for Best Actor during his college days.

To further pursue his passion, he studied Diploma in Film Technology at MFI, Hyderabad. After completing his studies, he worked with several prominent personalities in the film industry, including Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, Raja Vannem Reddy, Dasari Narayan Rao, and many others. His expertise in filmmaking grew as he contributed to various films.

Later, he independently directed and produced commercial advertisements for reputed companies like GMR, NTPC, and various social reform groups and real estate firms. His work extended to creating documentaries on social concerns and commercial films in Kannada and Telugu. One of his remarkable works, Kasanu, a children’s film, received widespread appreciation for addressing a significant social cause.

Dedication to Sanatana Dharma & Founding of Sanatana TV

In 2018, driven by a higher calling, Puneeth Sharman started a YouTube channel and a Facebook page to spread divine knowledge about Sanatana Dharma. His devotional videos quickly gained popularity, leading to the creation of two dedicated YouTube channelsFridaytalks and Sanatana TV. Over time, he produced more than 100 videos, covering Ramayana, Mahabharata, and documentaries on sacred pilgrimage sites like Arunachala, Kashi, and Chidambaram. His work attracted over 300,000 followers across social media platforms, making a significant impact on spiritual seekers.

With a deep sense of devotion and complete surrender (Poorna Bhakti) to Shiva, Puneeth Sharman decided to dedicate his life to serving Sanatana Dharma. In 2021, he established a non-profit organization to continue his Dharma Seva through spiritual videos and social initiatives. His intense devotion to Arunachala and Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi inspired him to organize Bhakti Yatras to places like Arunachala, Kashi, and other sacred pilgrimages. These journeys are not just physical travels but deeply spiritual experiences, where he explains the Stala Purana, Itihasa, and conducts group Homas with the Sankalpa of world peace and Go Raksha.

Today, Puneeth Sharman continues his mission with a broad vision and deep commitment to preserving and spreading the eternal wisdom of Sanatana Dharma, inspiring thousands to walk the path of devotion, knowledge, and service.
